Job Overview We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists eager to join our team in Akron, OH. Candidates must have hands-on experience in machining molds, blueprint reading, quality control and can work with our Programmer/Machinists to increase the throughput of our machining department. Duties Machine complex molds and precision components to tight aerospace and defense tolerances Operate and troubleshoot 5-axis CNC mills, primarily using Heidenhain controls Read and interpret technical blueprints and CAD drawings Work independently through instructions and/or production schedules Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize part accuracy and productivity Adhere to all company safety policies and quality standards, including AS9100 practices Qualifications Must have a minimum of five (5) years of CNC machining experience. Must have 5-axis CNC milling experience Experience in aerospace, defense and other regulated manufacturing industries Have an understanding and use of tooling, inserts, speeds/feed and fixtures. Ability to hold tight tolerances Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work Must possess shop math and analysis skills Experience with machining molds and Heidenhain controls Ability to be moderately active for 8 or more hours a day, including standing, kneeling, bending over, and lifting up to 70 pounds with reasonable accommodation.

Pay:

$24.00 - $33.00 per hour
