G&V Machine Company is seeking experienced CNC Setup Machinists for our 2nd and 3rd shift operations in Ixonia, Wisconsin. If you can confidently perform machine setups, make offsets, troubleshoot machining issues, and ensure quality production, we want to hear from you. Compensation is based on experience, technical skills, and machining capabilities. What You'll Do Perform complete setups on CNC mills and lathes Install tooling, fixtures, jaws, and workholding devices Load and verify CNC programs Make tool offsets and wear adjustments as needed Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings Verify part quality using precision measuring equipment Troubleshoot machining and quality issues Maintain production efficiency while meeting quality standards Support continuous improvement initiatives Follow all company safety and quality requirements QualificationsRequired 3+ years of CNC machining experience Previous CNC setup experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints Strong understanding of machining practices and tolerances Experience using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and other inspection equipment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Reliable attendance and a commitment to quality workmanship Knowledge of GD&T Ability to edit CNC programs at the machine Why Join G&V Machine Company?
