Primary Responsibilities Precision Machining - Set up, program (Mastercam), and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components for custom machinery & Tooling. Interpret Specifications — Work from drawings, shop orders, and verbal instructions; complete standard machining calculations for dimensions, tooling, speeds, and feeds. Operate Equipment Safely — Ensure safe operation and confirm preventative maintenance has been completed on assigned equipment. Quality Control — Monitor and verify the quality of machined materials throughout production. Follow Safety Standards — Adhere to all company safety rules and regulations. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes. Experience with Mastercam or similar CAM software preferred. Basic knowledge of machine shop equipment. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to accurately use measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and other basic machine shop measurement tools. Basic math skills and the ability to perform shop calculations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Team-oriented with good communication skills. Occasional overtime as needed to meet customer schedules Valid driver's license. Physical Requirements Work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise and seasonal temperature changes. Stand and walk for most of the workday. Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 65 pounds.
