Full Job Description About Us:
Delta Bev is a full-service route-to-market solutions for the production of functional beverages. Best-in-class co-manufacturing services and accelerated time to market. Responsibilities Responsible for start-up, shut down, product changeovers, and sanitation of assigned equipment such as can line, bottle line and shot line. Responsible for operations of assigned equipment during production, monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure target standards are met. Must do visual inspections and complete documentation during the run to ensure defect free work. Work with production team on QA/QC to ensure high quality, consistent product. Load corrugate, labels, bottles/cans, glue, carriers etc... in appropriate machines. Responsible for preventive maintenance on equipment with regards to cleaning and clearing areas of debris and other materials. Assist line mechanics in machinery repair or other tasks as/if needed. Performs visual inspection and documentation of the production process and finished product to ensure all quality requirements are met. Stock, organize and maintain cleanliness of packaging equipment and stations. Must ensure proper coding is on the bottle, cans, boxes/trays, and if applicable the graphics are acceptable. Must ensure closures and lids are properly applied. Verify flavor and size according to schedule. Is responsible to report any quality issue to the Lead person, QA Technician and/or Manager. Read and interpret packaging schedule, job procedures, and work instructions.Minimum Requirements:
Due to state regulations, qualified candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a fingerprinting background - certain criminal convictions may disqualify candidates based on state medical marijuana licensing regulations. High School diploma or equivalent Basic math, analytical and problem-solving skills. Follow direction and execute based on leadership decisions. Must be able to promote and work in safe manner, based on SOP and regulations. Must be Detail-Oriented. We're in a highly regulated industry and getting things right based on compliance is essential. Prior bottling / canning experience preferred. The job requires physical activity, including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, climbing, and lifting or moving up to 50lbs (or more with a coworker). Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive motions with accuracy is required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Forklift experience preferred.Desired Qualities and Skills:
Relevant beverage work experience in a manufacturing facility Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Docs (Word, Excel) Cycle Counting and Inventory Management Strong work ethic & effective written and verbal communication skills A willingness to learn and teach team members. Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time. Ability to work effectively and in a cohesive team atmosphere with all areas. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong ethics and sound judgment.Compensation:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour; dependent on experience.Schedule:
