Duties Set up, operate, and monitor plastic molding machines such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and press brake equipment to produce quality parts. Manage mold changes efficiently, ensuring proper installation and alignment using hand tools and precision measurement instruments. Conduct quality inspections on finished products using dimensional measurements and measurement tools to verify specifications. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with molds, robotic systems, CNC lathes, and other industrial equipment to minimize downtime. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and molds following safety protocols to ensure optimal performance. Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, including materials handling of plastics resins and finished parts. Document production data accurately, including measurements, machine settings, and inspection results for quality control records. Requirements Proven experience in plastics production processes such as injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion; plastics manufacturing experience is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate CNC lathes, press brake machines, robotic systems, and other industrial equipment. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine automation control. Ability to perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments for quality inspection. Hands-on experience with hand tools and fabrication techniques necessary for mold setup and adjustments. Knowledge of safety protocols related to machine operation, materials handling, and industrial environments. Basic math skills for measuring dimensions and calculating machine settings or adjustments. Warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling procedures is a plus.
