Job Description
We are looking for experienced press technicians to join our team! We are currently working 12 hour shifts, 6am-6:30 with rotating days off. Mon- Wed one week and Mon-Thursday the following week. This position is for 1st shift. Must be able to pass drug screen and criminal background check.
Position Summary:
This position ensures the efficient operation of Molding Presses and auxiliary equipment.Required Education and Experience:
2 years experience in manufacturing operation. Machine Set Up and troubleshooting 3 years of experience in manufacturing / production environment Good interpersonal communication skillsPreferred Education and Experience:
Working , pneumatic, hydraulic computer application programs and good keyboarding skills a plusCompetencies:
Detail oriented Effective time management skills Technical capacity Organizational skills Problem solving skills Teamwork Oriented Knowledge of hand tools and their safe use Basic operating knowledge of foam molding processes and equipment Forklift operator certification Basic math skills Good oral and written communication skillsEssential Functions:
Ensure proper transition of daily production requirements between oncoming and off going shift personnel. Operation and trouble-shooting of presses, pre-expander, and other molding equipment. Performs mold changes when needed. Aid in achieving goals dealing with utility conservation to improve basic units, scrap, and other score card items while maintaining the highest level of quality for our customers. Works with Quality Assurance to manufacture quality parts. Constantly monitor molding machines and auxiliary equipment to ensure they are running at peak performance. Maintains cleanliness of work area according to 6S program. Verify that all safety requirements are adhered to. Report any safety infractions to the supervisor or manager. Participates on teams / committees as requested. Must have the ability to work in above and below normal temperatures. Other duties as necessary and as assigned by supervisor.Job Type:
