ABOUT THE ROLE
The Large Format Packaging Lead supports day-to-day workflows in the shipping, receiving, kitting, and packaging areas once production is completed. In this role you will coordinate priorities, schedules, due dates, and client shipping requirements to execute work each day. The Large Format Packaging Lead helps ensure jobs are completed in the most cost-effective, efficient, and timely manner within quality standards and for optimal customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate job execution and daily workflow in the packaging area, helping finalize projects on time and in the manner requested by the client. Ensure packaging staff has what they need to execute daily work (e.g., job tickets/specs, files, materials, tools, and clear priorities); flags issues and escalates constraints to the Large Format Department Manager. Assist with onboarding and cross-training by sharing process knowledge and best practices; may provide hands-on guidance on workflow and job requirements Support adherence to safety, quality, and company policies by modeling expectations, helping answer process questions, and promptly escalating concerns to the Large Format Department Manager and/or Human Resources. Perform packaging duties within the department and provides operational coverage as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least two (2) years of related experience in packaging/kitting operations, with demonstrated ability to coordinate workflow, prioritize work, and support teams in meeting schedules and quality standards. High level of knowledge as it pertains to the multiple production, printing, and paper finishing processes/capabilities. Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures May be required to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance

This position works on the production floor in an industrial warehouse setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
