$25.00 - $35.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Position Overview The Lead Mold Setter is responsible for overseeing mold changeovers, ensuring machines are production-ready, and supporting the development of the molding team. This role combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, helping drive efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across the operation. Key Responsibilities Perform and coordinate mold changes based on the daily production schedule Lead and support mold setters during setups and changeovers Verify setups before releasing machines to production Train and mentor team members on best practices and procedures Troubleshoot molding, tooling, and equipment issues Assist with implementing new molds, equipment, and process improvements Perform preventative maintenance on molds and assist with minor equipment maintenance Maintain organized, safe, and efficient work areas Communicate production updates and issues to leadership Conduct daily equipment checks (forklifts, cranes, etc.) Qualifications 3+ years of injection molding or mold setting experience Prior leadership, training, or senior-level responsibilities preferred Strong knowledge of mold setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting Experience working in a fast-paced production environment Ability to lead by example and support team development Forklift and crane experience (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and problem-solving skills What We Offer Competitive hourly pay with overtime opportunities Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k) Paid time off and holidays Stable, growing company with advancement opportunities Clean, well-maintained facility with modern equipment Supportive, team-oriented culture
