In this role, you will be responsible for operating and setting up press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in mechanical blueprint interpretation, measurement, and safety standards will ensure the production of high-quality metal fabrications that meet strict specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing projects while honing your technical skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate, set up, and monitor press brake machines to perform precise bending operations on sheet metal parts Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine correct tooling and machine settings Measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to quality standards Adjust machine parameters based on measurements and blueprint requirements for optimal performance Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and safety checks on press brake equipment to ensure safe operation Collaborate with team members on tooling selection, machine setup, and process improvements Maintain accurate production logs, quality documentation, and shift reports for traceability and accountability Skills Extensive knowledge of press brake machine operation, setup, and safety protocols Proficiency in interpreting mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and shop math Experience with CNC programming for press brakes or related machinery is highly desirable Familiarity with CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe operations, welding, forming machines, and electrical discharge machining (EDM) techniques Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision tools for quality control Mechanical knowledge of tooling setups, sheet metal fabrication processes, and machining tools Strong understanding of safety standards in manufacturing environments and adherence to safety protocols during machine operation Basic math skills necessary for measurement calculations and process adjustments Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and work efficiently within manufacturing workflows Join our team as a Press Brake Operator if you're passionate about precision metal fabrication and eager to develop your skills in a supportive yet energetic environment.
