Pay:

$30-35/hour

DOE Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine correct tooling and bend sequences. Select, install, and align tooling for optimal machine performance. Program CNC press brake machines or make manual adjustments as needed. Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy, proper dimensions, and quality standards are met. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines and improve processes. Track and document production data, including quantities and material usage. Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred. 3+ years of experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing environment. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with CNC programming and setup is highly preferred. Knowledge of metal fabrication processes, tooling, and materials. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime as needed.
