Job Description
Franklin, IN | Full-Time | $26-$30/hr We're seeking an experienced Offset Print Press Operator to join a growing commercial printing team in Franklin, IN. If you have experience operating offset printing presses and take pride in producing high-quality printed materials, we'd love to hear from you. You'll be operating a KBA Performa 74 , a 5-color offset press featuring an aqueous coating unit, automatic plate changing, remote ink key control, color bar scanning, and CIP4 integration for fast and accurate color setup. Pay $26.00 - $30.00 per hour Based on experience Shift Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm What You'll Do Set up and operate a KBA Performa 74 offset printing press. Produce high-quality printed materials while maintaining production efficiency. Monitor press performance and make adjustments to ensure color accuracy and print quality. Utilize automated press features, including remote ink key controls, color bar scanning, and auto plate changing. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press equipment. Read and follow job layouts and specifications to ensure accurate production. Conduct quality inspections throughout the printing process. Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products as needed. Work closely with the production team to meet schedules and customer deadlines. Qualifications At least 1 year of experience operating an offset printing press or similar production equipment. Experience with press setup, operation, troubleshooting, and quality control. Familiarity with layout design software and typography principles is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
