Responsibilities Operate and monitor various printing presses such as flexo, digital, and large-format printers to produce high-quality prints efficiently. Adjust machine settings and perform routine maintenance to optimize print quality and minimize downtime. Interpret production documents, including layout designs and technical specifications, to ensure accurate reproduction of artwork. Manage color consistency through precise color management techniques to meet client specifications. Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to identify and correct defects or inconsistencies. Collaborate with prepress teams to prepare files using software like Adobe Creative Suite and prepress software for optimal printing results. Perform finishing tasks such as cutting, paper binding, and other post-printing processes to deliver finished products that exceed expectations. Skills Strong knowledge of print production processes including screen printing, flexo printing, digital printing, and large-format printing. Proficiency with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience with prepress procedures, including file preparation and color management techniques. Mechanical aptitude for adjusting industrial equipment and troubleshooting machine issues swiftly. Understanding of typography, layout design, and print advertising standards to ensure visual accuracy. Ability to interpret manufacturing documents accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach toward quality control and process improvement.
