Job Description

Growing employer seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to support the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving Quality Management Systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with
AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO
17025, internal auditing, and corrective action processes. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct internal and system audits to monitor compliance and report findings through the LIMS system Track and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution. Assist with maintaining AS9100 and
ISO 9001
certifications, DLA Laboratory Suitability, and
ISO 17025
accreditation Serve as a backup point of contact for external auditors Provide quality assurance support during client, customer, and government audits Support the implementation and maintenance of Preventive Action, Corrective Action, and Continuous Improvement programs Assist in coordinating Management Review meetings, including reporting findings and corrective action status
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in a quality-related role Equivalent combination of experience and demonstrated knowledge may be considered in lieu of a degree Experience with
AS9100, ISO
9001, and
ISO 17025
standards Experience working within Quality Management Systems (QMS) Internal auditing experience Familiarity with laboratory quality processes and accreditation requirements

Full-time Pay:
$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
