At Bosch, you change lives. Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team in Norman, Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization Lead and manage production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence Monitor and analyze production metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions Collaborate with supply chain and quality control departments to ensure smooth operations and product quality Oversee equipment maintenance and upgrades to minimize downtime and maximize productivity Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards in the production environment Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency Develop and manage production budgets, controlling costs while meeting production targets Coordinate with other departments to align production goals with overall business objectives
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree or 10+ years of experience working in manufacturing environments 3+ years of production supervision experience or a related role leading in a team environment 5+ years of combined factory experience in Manufacturing (operations), Quality, Engineering, or Production Planning Experience leading cross-functional teams Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and quality control management Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and their practical application Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and act on performance metrics Strong understanding of supply chain management and its impact on production In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, technologies, and industry-specific regulations Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to make decisive decisions and drive process improvements Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field Experience with coil manufacturing and robotic paint application in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is preferred Six Sigma certification or experience with other continuous improvement methodologies Experience in safety management and OSHA compliance Proven track record in budget management and cost control Additional Information Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans Bosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing.
