$17.00 Position Overview We are looking for a reliable Material Sorter to join our production team in Chino. In this role, you will be responsible for the manual sorting, organizing, and movement of metal parts and raw materials. Your goal is to ensure that production materials are properly categorized and moved to the correct departments to keep our high-volume stamping operations running smoothly. Primary Responsibilities Sort metal parts, scrap, and raw materials by size, type, or part number. Assist in moving materials from bins to conveyors or packing stations. Keep the warehouse and production floor organized by placing materials in their designated storage areas. Place sorted materials into crates, bins, or boxes and prepare them for the next stage of production or shipping. Follow all shop safety rules, including wearing proper PPE (gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots). Requirements Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and lift up to 40 lbs. Strong attendance record and a "get it done" work ethic. Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to meet daily production goals. Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and work well with other production staff. Working Conditions This is a physically active role in a loud, industrial shop environment. You will be working around heavy machinery and metal fabrication equipment.
