Chinese Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Set up production "work-in-progress" (WIP) report to track down the purchase orders, tech packs, PSM, and the status of fit approval samples, as well as fabric and trim approval updates. This WIP report should be updated daily, as it is a share report within the team. Monitor vessel ETD and ETA date to assure on time delivery, and matching shipping quantity against PO. In case partial shipment was found, you need to communicate with vendors when shipment is made partial and when the balance units will be shipped. The WIP report should be updated with shipping details. Double check all details on purchase orders prior to forwarding to factories. Handle daily packages in and out to vendors; make sure to send out tech packs and material sheet to vendors the same day upon receipt. Organizing work folders on a daily basis; and work with design team to review and approve material and samples the same day upon receipt. Monitor samples and material approval process and send comments to vendors the same afternoon after working with designers. Work with tech team about zip pattern, sewby, mini marker; and samples fit comment to be sent within a timely manner. Follow up and communicate with vendors about samples requirement and orders' progress; watch the submission and approval status of fabrics/trims/fit samples against each order delivery. Manage development and production orders from style set up to orders finished and received at Kellwood. Study all related customers' packaging requirements and details to communicate with vendors, need to make sure you understand the details and prevent mistakes ahead of time.
Qualifications/Experience:
1-3 years' experience in production Bilingual (English/Chinese) preferred but not required Compensation - $23.00 - $24.00 per hour The successful candidate will enjoy competitive compensation and benefits, matching 401K, Flexible Spending Plan, Paid Time Off, casual attire and company discounts.
