Full Job Description Production Associate I Shift:
Days- 6:30 am
- 5:00 pm, Monday
- Thursday.

Lives the Owens Corning Safer Together standards and meets all safety requirements; safety is a condition of employment Takes personal ownership to work safely each day and holds team members to the same safety standards Immediately notifies supervision of any accident, near miss, or on‑the‑job injury, regardless of severity Participates in plant safety, quality, TPM, and housekeeping programs as established within the facility Comply with all plant rules, policies, and safety regulations Performs cleanup and housekeeping duties at workstations and production areas Loads, unloads, assembles, and moves doors, components, and raw materials through the manufacturing process Follows production schedules, job orders, and work instructions to ensure correct product flow Performs quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet manufacturing specifications Gathers materials as needed to maintain continuous and efficient production Communicates safety, quality, or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel Demonstrates flexibility to changing priorities based on business needs Rotates between workstations or tasks as required Maintains regular attendance and the ability to work assigned shifts Performs other job‑related duties as assigned by authorized personnelJOB REQUIREMENTS
Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED preferred Manufacturing or production experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work effectively in a team or independently Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions Ability to learn to read and interpret measurements using a tape measure or similar tools Ability to learn and apply basic math skills, including fractions and measurement, required for production tasks Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to communicate effectively in a production environment Computer Software Competencies Ability to operate basic computer systems or electronic devices as required for production documentationESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands described below are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this job: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push/pull materials repetitively Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, squat, kneel, stoop, climb stairs and perform repetitive movements Ability to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, and materials Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for the duration of the shift Exposure to manufacturing conditions, including noise, moving mechanical parts, dust and wood shavings and varying temperatures.
