Job Description
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalentRequired Experience /
Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and PC navigation
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
- Understanding of basic production concepts, processes, and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately count, verify, and track inventory
- Ability to stand for approximately 95% of the work shift
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing approximately 20-50 pounds
- Ability to follow established procedures, safety requirements, and OSHA regulations
- Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as required
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Job Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and sort items according to packing slips and established procedures
- Count and verify incoming items to ensure inventory accuracy
- Enter and maintain inventory information in a computerized tracking system
- Pull and prepare the correct inventory to fulfill internal supply orders
- Process outbound supply orders accurately and within required timelines
- Perform data entry to update inventory and production systems
- Operate and monitor production equipment according to established procedures, work instructions, and client requirements
- Set up and calibrate equipment according to applicable guidelines and job specifications
- Perform quality checks to ensure work meets established accuracy and quality standards
- Assist with training new or existing employees on applicable processes and procedures
- Participate in team cross-training to develop proficiency across multiple production activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all applicable OSHA regulations and company safety, security, and operational procedures
- Handle confidential information appropriately and maintain confidentiality within the secure facility
