Job Description

Shifts:
Multiple 8 hour and 12 hour, some mandatory OT could be required.
Pay:
$18/hr. Plus shift differential if applicable The Production Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently performing assigned production duties within the Forge, Buffing, and Packing departments . Employees may be assigned to operate production equipment, perform finishing operations, inspect parts, package finished products, and complete other tasks necessary to support production. The Production Operator is expected to maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and teamwork while working in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely perform assigned duties in the Forge, Buffing, or Packing areas. Operate production equipment according to established procedures and training. Load, unload, handle, sort, and package materials and finished parts. Inspect parts for quality, defects, and proper specifications. Perform buffing, finishing, trimming, cleaning, and other processing tasks as assigned. Meet established production and quality standards. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Report safety, quality, equipment, or production concerns to the Team Lead or Supervisor. Complete required production and quality documentation. Work cooperatively with coworkers and assist with other production duties as assigned. Requirements Required Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to safely operate or learn to operate production equipment. Ability to maintain attention to detail and follow established procedures. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Willingness to learn and perform duties in the Forge, Buffing, or Packing areas. Preferred Previous manufacturing or production experience. Experience working in a forge, metalworking, finishing, or packing environment. Experience operating industrial equipment. Previous experience with quality inspection or material handling.
