Thorough understanding of Quality procedures as it relates to ISO, AS9100, NADCAP and ISO Medical Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general SQL System(s) Thorough knowledge of interpretation assembly drawings and processes. Responsibilities Perform first article inspection for SMT, TH-Hole and mixed stuffed boards. Make sure all instructions are read and followed i.e. SOW (Statement of work), SAI (special assembly instructions), and PO. Perform inspections at In-coming, in-process, and final inspection. Make sure revision on all documents (traveler, kit audit, etc.) match with customer BOM, and drawing. Follow Aegis and I-View paperless system to perform First Article, In-process, and/or final inspection. Request proper paperwork from engineers for any rework of points that do not satisfy requirements. Fill out MRR for non-conforming material and submit to MRB's team for disposition. Understand acceptance criteria based on IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and our customer SPECs. Verify that assemblies meet customer requirements. Essential Functions Perform detailed visual and workmanship inspections of printed circuit board assemblies, including SMT, through-hole, and mixed-technology assemblies. Read and interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, Statements of Work (SOWs), Special Assembly Instructions (SAIs), customer specifications, and other manufacturing documentation. Use inspection tools, equipment, and applicable electronic systems to verify that PCB assemblies meet required quality and customer standards. Identify, document, and communicate defects, discrepancies, and nonconforming material to appropriate Quality, Production, and Engineering personnel. Accurately complete and maintain required inspection records, reports, and quality documentation in accordance with company and customer requirements. Perform work in accordance with applicable IPC standards, internal procedures, ESD requirements, ITAR requirements, and other regulatory or customer requirements.
