Overview Join our dynamic team as a Machine Shop Quality Lab Tech at our facility located in Wyoming, IL, 61941. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our machining processes. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments and tools to assess product quality. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality metrics. Collaborate with machine operators and engineering teams to address quality issues. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes. Assist in training team members on quality standards and inspection techniques. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the quality lab and inspection areas. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in quality assurance is a plus. Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably in a machine shop environment. Strong understanding of machining processes and quality standards. Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
