DIRECT HIRE!
4 day work week , great benefit package, and opportunity to grow! Monday through Thursday, 8 - 5:30, $22/hr. As a Milling Technician, you'll work as part of a team to fulfill custom customer orders ranging from rough lumber to precision re-dimensioning and molding operations. You'll develop expertise in hardwood species and their applications, helping determine the best materials and milling processes to achieve each customer's specifications. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll plan and execute orders, communicate with customers when needed, calculate material requirements, operate milling equipment, and produce custom profiles to exacting standards. The role also includes regular customer interaction through delivery routes. As you gain experience, you may take on account management responsibilities, becoming a primary point of contact for key customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate milling machinery to produce custom profiles and dimensions Read and follow customer specifications with precision Measure materials accurately and calculate inventory requirements Select appropriate hardwood species and materials for specific applications Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management Operate forklifts and delivery trucks Participate in customer deliveries and develop strong customer relationships Perform basic machine, tool, and facility maintenance and cleanup Continuously develop product, material, and milling expertise The ideal candidate is team-oriented, dependable, has strong communication & problem-solving skills, is detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision. They are comfortable working outdoors and standing for extended periods, possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and are willing to learn and develop technical skills.
Additional Requirements:
Candidates must comply with zero-tolerance substance abuse and smoking policies.

From $22.00 per hour
