regulatory compliance Analysis skills Bachelor's degree Quality improvement Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Bachelor's degree in nursing Productivity software Healthcare data collection JCAHO Hospital regulatory compliance Communication skills Hospital experience Nursing Full Job Description Under the direction of the Clinical Performance Manager this position is responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting of hospital core measures and or Registry (i.e. NSQIP, Action, GWTG) data to ensure compliance with nationally recognized quality patient care processes and clinical outcomes. The Clinical Performance Analyst may also facilitate the Medical Staff Peer Review Process. At UnityPoint Health, you matter. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Minimum of 3 years of hospital based clinical experience. Experience with electronic patient records. Experience with data abstraction from an electronic medical record. Current RN license Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and function independently Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Quality Improvement education or training. Data abstraction for core measures or other registry. Experience in quality improvement, outcome measurement Experience as a team facilitator/coach. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality Knowledge of CMS/Joint Commission regulations. Familiarity with DRGs, ICD-9 codes, and procedure codes. Previous experience with spreadsheets, database and graphic software. Knowledge of Quality Improvement concepts and skills preferred Graphic presentation and analysis of data.
