Full Job Description About The Pink Bakery:
The Pink Bakery provides certified allergen-free baking mixes that support inclusive dining and operational consistency in institutional foodservice. The brand serves operators nationwide with premium baking mixes designed for high-volume foodservice environments, including shared kitchens.
The Opportunity:
The Foodservice Sales Representative (National) will lead new business development for The Pink Bakery across college and university dining, healthcare, and senior living, while supporting select hospitality and multi-unit coffee/café opportunities. This is a high-growth, new-business development role for a proven revenue producer. The position carries an aggressive national sales target and requires someone capable of generating early sales momentum and accelerating account adoption. The successful candidate must bring current, active relationships within institutional foodservice and broadline distribution that can be leveraged to gain access to decision-makers and create new business. This is not a position centered on maintaining an established book of business. The person in this role must personally create and develop new opportunities, open doors, navigate complex sales cycles, ask for the business, and convert opportunities into recurring revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify, pursue, and close new institutional foodservice accounts Personally generate new business through direct prospecting, relationship development, referrals, networking, and strategic account penetration Leverage current industry relationships to gain access to decision-makers and accelerate account adoption Build and advance a qualified national pipeline aligned with revenue expectations Develop relationships with foodservice directors, chefs and culinary leaders, dietitians, procurement leaders, and other key stakeholders Lead product presentations, tastings, pilots, operator education, and menu integration Partner with national and regional broadline distributors to establish distribution, drive pull-through, and grow account velocity Navigate procurement requirements and multiple stakeholders within complex institutional organizations Maintain accurate CRM activity, next steps, pipeline status, and sales forecasts Provide market intelligence to leadership to inform account strategy, positioning, pricing, distribution, and product development Who Will Thrive in

The role begins with clear structure, defined expectations, and regular accountability. Greater independence is earned through demonstrated sales performance, consistent follow-through, accurate pipeline management, and trust. They take ownership of their commitments and results and represent both organizations with professionalism and integrity.
What Success Looks Like:
Success is measured by revenue and account adoption. This role is expected to generate early sales momentum, consistently convert qualified opportunities into purchasing accounts, develop repeat business, and expand adoption across institutional foodservice.
Qualifications Required:
5+ years of successful institutional foodservice sales experience with national or multi-regional responsibility Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals by personally originating, developing, and closing new business that resulted in measurable revenue Direct sales experience within college and university dining and/or healthcare and senior living Current, active relationships with institutional foodservice decision-makers and broadline foodservice distributors Demonstrated success leveraging those relationships to gain access, open new accounts, and accelerate account adoption Experience selling within complex, multi-stakeholder foodservice organizations and navigating institutional procurement Demonstrated ability to open and grow accounts for an emerging, differentiated, or specialty foodservice brand Demonstrated ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial, founder-led environment, including the ability to take direction, execute against established priorities, and bring the resourcefulness, adaptability, initiative, and hands-on execution required to grow an emerging brand Strong relationship-building, presentation, persuasion, and negotiation capabilities Ability to maintain disciplined pipeline management, accurate CRM activity, and consistent follow-through Ability to manage a national territory and pipeline against aggressive sales expectations
Preferred Experience:
