Our Opportunity The purpose of this position is to provide daily support to Manufacturing and Tooling groups by issuing tools and gages, keeping The Tool Crib Attendant maintains records of tools issued and returned. Tracks tooling usage and maintains inventory to include re-order levels. This position works closely with the Tooling Department and schedules the fabrication of all custom-made or modified tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Track tooling usage. Coordinates schedules for fabrication of all custom-made or modified tools. Issue tools to CNC operators. Maintain inventory to include re-order levels. Audit the records for tool usage and adjust inventory levels accordingly. Generate Purchase Orders for tooling inventory. Evaluate tools for wear or damage. Introduce new tools to the tooling system. Other duties may include administrative tasks. Education and/or Experience High School diploma or general education degree (GED); some college preferred with 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Inventory background preferred. Experience with Tool Boss or tool inventory system a plus.
