Job Description

1st
Shift:
, 9am-5:30am, M-F
  • Check work on the computer for the employees (tooling, grinding, machining), using the blueprints, entering work orders
  • Order tooling that is needed in the organization
  • Withdraw tools from stocks if necessary and adjust system of quantities
  • Forward request for tooling and prints to Tool Room for review
  • Update and distribute Hot Job report on a daily basis
  • Collect tooling Green Sheets from departments, pull and attach blueprints, then forward sheets to Tool Room for review
  • Pull and fill blank tooling requisitions for Tool Room
  • Update and maintain system with cancellations approved by departments
  • Quote outside venders
  • Work close with purchasing and engineering
  • Expedite tooling orders in the Tool Room as requested by departments
  • Complete, if necessary, reports and graphs for tracking tool ordering and receipt times
  • Compare physical item to print of problem tools to ensure that information is correct (i.
e. wrong tool numbers, identify tools, etc.)
Skill/Knowledge:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Steel toe shoes required
