This is not an entry-level role and it's not for someone who only runs what others build. We're hiring a Progressive Toolmaker who understands progressive dies inside and out—someone who can build, debug, and keep high-speed production running without excuses. This is a F/T direct placement to the client, 1st or 2nd shift with a range of $35•$55 hourly + OT, based on experience. Responsibilities:

Build, assemble, maintain, and debug progressive stamping dies Troubleshoot press and tooling issues under real production pressure Precision grinding, fitting, spotting, and polishing Work directly with engineering and production—not through layers of nonsense Improve die performance, reliability, and uptime

Desired Background/Skills:

5+ years as a Progressive Toolmaker (no training wheels) Deep understanding of progressive die function and timing Excellent blueprint reading & GD&T knowledge Strong mechanical instincts—you see problems before they stop production
