Qualifications and responsibilities for this Tool and Die Maker position include: Minimum 5 years of CNC setup experience in a precision machining, job shop, or contract manufacturing environment Plan and execute complex CNC setups independently on milling and/or turning equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings including GD&T, surface finish callouts, and tolerance interpretation Select tooling, inserts, holders, and workholding fixtures; establish offsets and verify against print requirements Edit or create CNC programs at the control (conversational or G-code) Perform first-piece inspection and in-process inspection using calipers, micrometers, bore gages, thread gages, and other tools Operate CNC equipment to blueprint specifications while monitoring tool wear, chatter, and surface finish Follow
