Description Bardane Mfg. Co. is seeking an experienced Tool Room Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll support our manufacturing operations by maintaining, repairing, and working with precision tooling and dies.
Job Duties:
Operate manual lathes and milling machines
Grind core pins to precise tolerances within thousandths of an inch
Disassemble and reassemble dies for maintenance and repair
Polish dies and tooling as needed
Identify and replace broken or damaged core pins
Perform general tool and die maintenance and repairs
Troubleshoot tooling issues and make necessary adjustments
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe tool room and work area
Requirements:
Experience operating manual lathes and milling machines
Ability to perform precision grinding within thousandths of an inch
Experience with die disassembly, maintenance, and repair
Ability to work with precision tools and equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Welding experience is a plus
