Composite Technician - Entry Level Aerospace! Launch Your Career in
Aerospace Pay:
Up to $25/hour We are seeking individuals to support the manufacturing of advanced aerospace components using composite materials such as carbon fiber and prepregs. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience or strong mechanical aptitude looking to grow within the aerospace industry. Key Responsibilities Perform hand layup of composite materials on molds per engineering specifications Prepare tools, molds, and surfaces to ensure proper material adhesion and part quality Apply prepreg materials with accurate fiber orientation and ply placement Set up and execute vacuum bagging processes for curing operations Operate ovens and autoclaves in accordance with process and safety requirements Trim, drill, and finish parts to meet dimensional and quality standards Inspect components for defects and ensure compliance with specifications Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Qualifications High school diploma or GED Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing or technical setting Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environmentPreferred:
Experience in manufacturing, construction, or related field Familiarity with composite materials or technical documentation Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mukilteo, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
