Job Description
Essential Duties and Principal Responsibilities- M-F 6am-2:30pm & Saturdays 6am-12pm Must have your own Welding Helmet Maintaining a Philosophy of Continuous Improvement Willingness to learn new things Ability to layout structural steel members. WF's, HSS, Pipe, etc. SMAW Welding Must be able to interpret architectural and structural details from construction drawings Structural Steel Fabrication Experience 4 - 5 years Min. Experience Grinding, Sanding Working closely with all individuals in this department and as a team. Maintaining a focus on your internal customer (shipping.) Ensuring Crane Reports are filled out daily and turned in Helping to ensure that our processes flowchart is followed Encourage others to speak up and help their teammates towards success Always keeping Safety at the forefront and encouraging a safety minded culture Detail orientated and proficient with numbers and Blueprints Ability to problem solve and multi-task Ensuring that material is processed and delivered to our customers on time. Work closely with all departments Ability to communicate clearly Operating an Overhead Crane Driving a forklift Qualifications / Requirements Dependable and demonstrated organization Lift and carry up to 75lbs for 25' - 0" unassisted Proficient with numbers and blueprints Lift and place above chest height up to 75lbs Ability to make decisions quickly and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Organized and highly detailed. Self-motivated. Must be able to work within a team setting and effectively communicate with multiple departments. Safety and OSHA compliant. Pass a post offer non D.O.T. physical and Musculoskeletal Assessment Pass a post offer non D.O.T. drug screen Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, work orders, and quality documents. Pay:
