Looking for Welder/Fabricator for Job Shop Environment. Highly qualified at welding aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. Knowledge of nickel alloys, titanium and argon gas purging a plus.

• Must be able to TIG, MIG, & Stick welding and understand which welding process is best for the job, not just personal preference.
• Must be able to TIG weld aluminum from 1/16" to 3/4" thick with knowledge of preheating when necessary.
• Must be able to read and understand prints and their weld symbols to build products properly and proficiently.
• Must be able to read and speak English to understand notes on prints properly.
• Must be able to work 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 40 hours a week with some overtime required.
• Must be able to limit cellphone use to breaks and lunchtime.
• Must have valid driver's license & reliable transportation.

Qualified candidates would be working in a job shop environment working on one job for many days to having 3-4 weld jobs in one day. Working with square tube frames to aluminum vacuum units, titanium frames for oceanographic instruments. There are a lot of repeat jobs that come back often and jobs we do once and never see again. Working in an air conditioned and heated shop. Always something new and challenging.
