Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our structural steel fabrication team in Bellport, NY . This is a full-time, year-round position with 40 hours guaranteed per week . We are looking for skilled, dependable fabricators who can fit, fabricate, and weld structural steel accurately and efficiently. Experienced structural steel fabricators who can read drawings, lay out work, and complete fabrication with minimal supervision will earn top pay. Responsibilities

• Fabricate structural steel components according to drawings and specifications
• Perform MIG, Flux Core, and Stick welding on structural and miscellaneous steel
• Fit, tack, weld, grind, and finish fabricated components
• Read and interpret structural steel drawings, shop drawings, and blueprints
• Measure, lay out, cut, drill, cope, and prepare steel for fabrication
• Fabricate beams, columns, plates, angles, channels, stairs, railings, and miscellaneous steel
• Operate saws, drills, grinders, torches, and other fabrication equipment
• Verify dimensions, layout, fit-up, and finished work for accuracy
• Maintain high-quality welds and fabrication standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Work independently and as part of a fabrication team to meet production schedules Qualifications
• Structural steel welding and fabrication experience strongly preferred
• Strong MIG, Flux Core, and/or Stick welding skills
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform layout
• Ability to read and understand structural steel shop drawings and blueprints
• Experience fitting and laying out structural steel
• Knowledge of beams, columns, channels, angles, plates, and other structural steel components
• Ability to safely operate common fabrication equipment
• Must be dependable, hardworking, and consistently report to work on time
• AWS welding certifications are a plus
• Experienced structural steel fitters/fabricators are strongly encouraged to apply Pay & Schedule $30.

00-$45.00 per hour , depending on experience and skill level. Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM 40 HOURS
