Full-Time | Direct Hire | Union Position Build Your Career with a Leading Manufacturing Team We are seeking experienced Welders to join a well-established, ASME-certified manufacturing facility specializing in the fabrication of stainless steel pressure vessels and custom metal components. Position Summary The Welder is responsible for performing MIG and TIG welding, fabrication, grinding, and assembly of stainless steel and carbon steel components while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and other metal alloys. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Prepare materials for welding through grinding, fitting, and positioning. Perform welding in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions as required. Inspect finished welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Repair weld defects and complete finishing work as needed. Assemble and tack weld components using fixtures and jigs. Fabricate new and replacement parts for pressure vessels and related equipment. Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, and welding equipment safely. Perform minor equipment maintenance, including replacing hoses, fittings, and valves. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Complete additional duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Previous experience with MIG and TIG welding. Ability to pass vertical and horizontal MIG and TIG weld tests. Experience welding stainless steel and other metal alloys. Ability to read measuring devices and fabrication drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Preferred Mechanical aptitude or hydraulic experience. Experience in pressure vessel, tank, or heavy industrial fabrication. Willingness to work alternate shifts if business needs require. Physical Requirements Lift and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more. Stand and walk for up to 10-hour shifts. Work from ladders or scaffolding when necessary. Work in confined spaces as required. Perform repetitive bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.
