Tapani:
Tapani Careers Responsibilities The Welder / Fabricator is responsible for welding and fabricating a variety of projects that come through the shop. Projects range from small in-house welding projects to large structural projects in the field. This position works with various metals, equipment, and project plans to ensure work is completed safely, professionally, and according to project specifications.
The main responsibilities:
Welding and Fabrication:
Complete welding and fabrication work for a variety of shop and field projects while maintaining a high level of quality.
Project Plans and Specifications:
Understand the final project and desired outcome with moderate supervision. Work from project plans, drawings, measurements, and specifications to complete assigned work accurately.
Tools, Equipment, and Materials:
Work with various metals, specialized equipment, and fabrication tools while ensuring equipment is used properly and safely.
Quality:
Ensure all work is completed professionally and according to project specifications and Tapani's quality standards.
Safety:
Follow all company, shop, and jobsite safety requirements and ensure applicable safety regulations are followed.
Shop Organization:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Teamwork and Problem-Solving:
Work effectively both independently and with others while using creativity and problem-solving skills when projects require unique fabrication solutions.

Fabricator:
Previous welding and fabrication experience preferred WABO welding certification preferred Basic math and measurement skills Ability to read and understand project plans, drawings, and specifications Experience working with various metals, welding equipment, and fabrication tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to work efficiently and professionally with moderate supervision Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and creativity when working on custom projects Ability to follow company and jobsite safety requirements Full-time position based out of Battle Ground, WA , with potential for occasional work in the field on job sites
Compensation and Benefits Pay:
$25.02 - $46.90 per hour (based on qualifications and experience) Comprehensive Medical Insurance plans with low to $0 monthly premiums Additional voluntary insurance options include: Dental, Vision, and a wide variety of Supplemental insurances.
