TARYN NEWTON

Virtual Social Media & Affiliate Assistant Full-Time | Remote |

Schedule:

Wednesday-Sunday or Tuesday -Saturday |

Reports To:

Taryn Newton, Founder Position Overview The Affiliate & Content Operations Coordinator is a full-time, fully remote role built to give a fast-growing, creator-led lifestyle brand a dependable execution and affiliate support layer across the business. This person will take over the daily affiliate and linking execution the brand currently relies on outside support for, while also owning several platforms and workflows — carousels, community and DM support, giveaways, Substack, Pinterest, and website upkeep — that need a clear, consistent owner. This is a hands-on execution role, not a strategy or voice-setting role. The founder will continue to set brand direction and voice; this person is responsible for turning that direction into accurate, timely, well-organized execution across affiliate platforms, content, and community. Because weekends are among the highest revenue and highest affiliate-activity days for this business, weekend coverage is a core, ongoing part of this role rather than an occasional exception. Non-Negotiables Real, hands-on LTK experience — comfortable building and verifying posts, linking products accurately, and understanding the platform from both a posting and linking standpoint. Familiarity with Amazon Affiliate and the pace of affiliate content: promotions, deal timing, links, and how creators monetize through these platforms. Comfortable with a schedule that includes regular weekend work, since weekends are among the highest revenue and highest affiliate-activity days for this business. Able to move quickly and communicate timing clearly when something needs to be posted or corrected in real time. Key Responsibilities Affiliate

+ Linking Support Provide daily affiliate execution support across LTK, Amazon, LinkDM, and other linking needs. Build and verify LTK posts, confirming that products are linked accurately. Check whether deals and promotions are still active and verify pricing as needed. Help the team move quickly when something needs to be posted in real time. Provide evening and weekend support when needed, particularly around high revenue days, game weekends, sales, and timely affiliate opportunities. Carousel Execution Execute approximately two carousels per week. Support a streamlined process where assets and products are prepared in advance and the corresponding LTK post is accurate and ready. Draft weekend carousels before they are needed, with Sunday as one of the primary carousel days. Stay comfortable preparing content in advance and supporting execution on weekends. DM

+ Community Support Manage daily DMs at a meaningful volume, especially link requests. Track what the audience is repeatedly asking for — products people want linked, common questions, and conversations that may signal an opportunity to reshare or create additional content. Provide a simple daily recap of those insights rather than letting them disappear inside the inbox. Support Instagram comment engagement, spam cleanup, and Facebook spam moderation. Update Highlights as needed and share Stories to Facebook on weekends. Giveaways

+ Community Administration Manage giveaways from start to finish, including tracking when they are posted and selecting winners. Keep the giveaway spreadsheet updated and communicate when something is needed from the team. Make sure fulfillment is completed within the week.

Substack / Newsletter

Own the execution of Substack, including organizing content and sourcing products or topics. Build the newsletter, prepare links, and make sure everything is accurate. Keep the team consistent with the publishing schedule. Support the founder's voice and direction rather than setting it independently. Pinterest Manage Pinterest at a practical, day-to-day level. Repurpose appropriate content and maintain consistency. Make sure links are accurate and identify which content is worth pinning. Track whether Pinterest is contributing meaningful traffic and flag whether it warrants continued attention. Website Keep the website current, including updating featured products, seasonal content, links, and landing pages. Maintain key affiliate content so the site reflects what the brand is actively talking about. Work comfortably inside a website platform to maintain content (not a web development role). Sourcing Actively source products and opportunities across fashion, home, beauty, family, lifestyle, Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other relevant retailers. Learn the audience and understand what has historically performed. Identify strong new arrivals, deals, restocks, seasonal opportunities, and products that could translate into affiliate content, carousels, Reels, Substack, or other content. Bring recommendations proactively rather than waiting for requests. Brand + Team Support Help with weekly insights requested by the team and other execution tasks as needed. See a gap, understand the objective, and help solve it without requiring every step to be mapped out. Ideal Candidate Background The strongest candidate will have experience working with a creator, publisher, affiliate business, or digital media brand, and will understand that this is a fast-moving environment where priorities can change based on what is happening online.

We would prioritize:

Experience working with a creator, publisher, affiliate business, or digital media brand. Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change based on what is happening online. Strong experience with LTK. Familiarity with Amazon Affiliate. Experience with affiliate linking and creator monetization. Strong organization and follow-through. Comfortable with weekend work as part of a normal schedule. Able to move quickly and communicate timing clearly. Proactive and resourceful. Strong attention to detail. Comfortable with Substack or newsletter platforms. Familiarity with Pinterest. Comfortable maintaining website content. Strong product sourcing instincts. Able to understand data and use it to make better recommendations.
