Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Master Automotive Technician specializing in high-level diagnostics and complex repairs. This energetic professional will leverage advanced technical knowledge to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on complex vehicle systems using advanced tools, including automotive electrical systems, powertrain, transmissions, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and schematics. Conduct high-level repairs on engines, transmissions, diesel engines, and other critical components with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized diagnostic equipment to execute repairs accurately. Interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and service manuals to identify root causes of issues. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as alignments, wheel balancing, and suspension work to ensure safety and performance standards. Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair findings clearly and provide accurate auto estimating for complex jobs. Maintain detailed records of diagnostics, repairs, parts used, and service procedures to ensure quality control and warranty compliance. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive automotive service technician background with a focus on high-level diagnostics. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines. Proficiency in reading schematics and using diagnostic software for accurate troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment machines, and vehicle electrical systems. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Valid certification as an automotive technician; ASE certification preferred. Familiarity with GM vehicles or other major brands is a plus; experience with auto estimating software is advantageous. $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
