Medical Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Dr. ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters. This role is essential for enhancing patient care and streamlining clinical workflows. Responsibilities Accurately document patient history, physical exams, and treatment plans during patient encounters. Assist the provider by recording real-time notes in electronic health records (EHR). Ensure all documentation complies with coding standards and regulations. Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate efficient patient service and care coordination. Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology to accurately capture clinical information. Support the healthcare team by managing administrative tasks related to patient documentation. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of medical terminology, coding practices, and EHR systems. Rooming patients Assist the provider during procedures Scheduling Appointments Inventory Experience Previous experience as a Medical Scribe or in a similar role is preferred Knowledge of X-ray procedures and outpatient services is beneficial. Understanding of anatomy knowledge and physiology knowledge is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
