Part Time Maintenance Technician

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

• Join our maintenance team! Responsibilities include small home repairs, general maintenance (like changing light bulbs and the occasional appliance replacement), seasonal landscaping and clearing residential walkways of snow. This is an active position (see list of physical demands below). Schedule is Thursdays and Fridays 9am-5pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 9am-3pm

Wage:

$21 - $23/hr We also do walkway snow removal (shoveling/small blower) throughout the winter season.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Knowledge and experience in basic skills of general maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, A/C, drywall and appliance repair. Knowledge of and ability to operate basic hand tools and small power tools. Attention to detail and strong organizing skills Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English Ability to read and comprehend routine instructions A professional appearance and positive attitude Must possess valid, current, and non-probationary driver's license and good driving record required to operate resort pickup truck Basic computer skills Ability to work well and complete independently or with others as needed without direct supervision. Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks and assignments while maintaining professionalism, composure and confidentiality

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to frequently walk and climb/descend stairs Must be able to work in diverse locations under varying conditions (e.g. outdoor in summer or winter, storage spaces, crawl spaces). Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted and 140 lbs with assistance. Ability to shovel snow, remove walkway ice and operate a walk-behind snowblower for up to 2 hours. Ability to work for extended periods of time while sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, reaching or twisting to accomplish required tasks. Ability to push/pull to include when moving various items and equipment such as trash carts, snowblowers, lawnmowers, wheelbarrows, etc. Must be able climb and work comfortably on ladders. Must have dexterity to operate computers, hand-tools, power tools, and other equipment.'
