Patio Cover Installation Laborer

Job Summary Nevada Patio Solutions is looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our crew assisting with the construction and installation of aluminum patio covers, decks, and motorized retractable shade systems throughout the greater Dayton, Carson City, and Reno-area communities. We are a local patio cover and deck contractor and an authorized dealer for Sun Control Systems retractable shades. This is a hands-on, outdoor construction position that is a good fit for someone who enjoys physical work, wants to learn a trade, and takes pride in building quality projects for customers. Previous construction experience is helpful, but not required -we are willing to train the right person. Duties Under direct supervision, responsibilities may include: Assist with the construction and installation of aluminum patio covers Assist with deck construction and related outdoor living projects Assist with the installation of exterior motorized retractable shade systems Prepare jobsites by unloading materials, setting up tools, and clearing work areas Dig footing holes using hand tools and/or power equipment Mix and place concrete for post footings Measure, cut, and organize aluminum, composite, and other building materials Assemble and secure patio cover, deck, and shade system components using hand and power tools Assist with installation of posts, beams, roof panels, deck framing, decking, shade housings, side tracks, brackets, and related components Help ensure all work is installed cleanly, accurately, and to company standards Work as part of a crew to complete projects efficiently and professionally Follow all safety procedures while working on ladders, around tools, and on active jobsites Keep tools, equipment, trucks, and work areas clean and organized Perform final jobsite cleanup at the end of each project Qualifications Previous construction, carpentry, decking, roofing, fencing, shade/awning, or similar hands-on experience is preferred, but not required Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy materials Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow directions Good communication skills and ability to work well with a small crew Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Schedule Full-time, part-time, and summer employment opportunities available Daytime work schedule Hours may vary depending on project workload and weather Work Location Based out of Dayton, Nevada Projects are generally located throughout the surrounding Northern Nevada area

Pay:

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
