Every member of our team is a valuable resource in this pursuit of excellence, and we are currently seeking a Preschool Paraprofessional at James R. Watson Elementary! What your day will look like: Under general supervision, you will perform a variety of activities including assisting in conducting training and learning activities with preschool children, performing a variety of routine clerical and supportive activities for instructional personnel, and performing other related work as required.

This will include:

As directed by the teacher, you will work with individual or small groups of preschool students. You will make effective use of instructional materials and demonstrate effective methods of instruction to ensure that the individual student performance levels, needs, and abilities are addressed. Assisting students off the bus in the mornings and onto the bus in the afternoons. Assisting with getting student snacks and feeding students. Exercising behavior management. You will go through the Crisis Prevention Intervention training that is provided. You will be collaborating with teachers and other para-professionals in the Preschool classroom. This position is 28.75 hours per week. Why we'll love you: You have worked hard to earn a H.S. Diploma or equivalency.
