• North Geismar We are looking for a Production Operator to join our CM team in our North Geismar, LA location.

Chemical Production Operators at our North Geismar DNT facility are responsible for conducting the daily activities related to the manufacturing operations of the chemical facility. During your 12-hour shift as a Production Operator, you will Operator responsibility and accountability includes, but is not limited to:

• Working within the scope of procedures and instructions to manufacture chemical products by operating processes and equipment, primarily via DCS and PLC systems.
• Facilitate the transfer of raw materials and finished products to and from vessels including, railway cars, tank trucks, totes, and drums.
• Ensures data collection / documentation of the process, interprets results and responds with appropriate adjustments.
• Assists with the process and equipment troubleshooting process.
• Ensures the proper handling of waste streams to comply with corporate, local, state, and federal regulations.
• Participates in and complies with all training and development activities.
• Performs emergency response activities, as required. If you...
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

• PTEC or other post-secondary technical program preferred
• Previous chemical operation experience preferred
• Previous military experience may be considered as years of experience
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
