Grade 08: $48,789•$62,959 annually Grade 10: $54,789•$72,066 annually West Valley Cleanup Alliance is the prime contractor selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to manage the Phase 1B Deactivation & Demolition Contract at the West Valley Demonstration Project site, located approximately 30 minutes south of Buffalo, New York. In cooperation with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, the project continues to decontaminate and decommission facilities at the site. Job Summary / Purpose of Position The Property Control Coordinator will provide support to the development, oversight, and implementation of site-wide property management and inventory control programs to control and manage government owned assets and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations. Minimum Qualifications Education / Experience Grade 08 High school diploma or equivalent Grade 10 High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience Preferred Qualifications Real and Personnel Property DOE Program knowledge/experience. Advanced Excel Tracking development and operation. Able to take direction effectively, work independently and consistently report progress and outcomes to Manager. Other Requirements Relevant warehouse experience preferred. Strong organizational skills All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. The salary and grade level offered will be based on education, training, and/or relevant experience. Major Responsibilities / Scope of Work Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following established safe work practices and procedures; including following all safety rules, use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE), investigating and reporting identified safety concerns or situations. Adhere to Company Code of Conduct, EEO practices, and DOE directives Conduct routine physical inventories of government tagged property which includes sensitive items, controlled storage, equipment, high risk items, warehouse stock items, and precious metals. Assist in the coordination activities associated with the High Risk/Export Controlled Information bi-annual meetings. Assist in the implementation of site-wide programs for inventory management of real and personal property, including precious metals. Develop knowledge of all applicable Federal Property Management Regulations (FPMR) and other property management requirements, as required. Support the Facilities Information Management System (FIMS) with all functions supporting annual validation requirements. Assist in the preparation and submission of proposed changes and deviations from applicable regulations and assist in negotiating options to permit more cost-effective processes. Maintain accurate and detailed records of assets including acquisitions, transfers, dispositions, etc. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Essential Functions Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.t Proficiency with Microsoft suite Ability to effectively manage, organize, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interface with individuals or groups from inside or outside the organization. WVCA is a drug free workplace.
