Property Technician in Snowmass, CO We are seeking a dependable Property Technician to assist the Property Manager with both day-to-day operations and broader property upkeep at a privately owned equestrian facility. This full-time, year-round position (typically 40 hours/week, with occasional overtime) offers a pay range of $29.88 to $32.77 per hour, plus a company-paid medical plan, paid time off, and 401K. Opportunities for advancement are available.
Responsible for:
Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing property facilities, grounds, and basic building systems (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry), including roadway and pathway upkeep. Performing snow removal as needed, including plowing, shoveling, and blowing to ensure safe access and operations. Maintaining irrigation systems and ditches, including routine monitoring and seasonal upkeep. Controlling noxious weeds and maintaining turf, pastures, fences, grounds, and landscaping to established property standards. Operating, using, and maintaining equipment and tools safely and properly (e.g., skid steer, heavy-duty truck/trailer, tractor, four-wheeler, snowmobile, and hand/power tools). Performing preventive maintenance, light repairs, and general upkeep on vehicles, equipment, tools, and facilities; identifying and resolving issues promptly and coordinating with vendors as needed. Completing daily reports and maintaining accurate documentation using computer/mobile applications; communicating effectively with staff and supporting special projects as assigned. Promoting a safe and secure environment by following all safety/security procedures and promptly reporting potentially unsafe conditions. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Applicants must have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation equipped for winter driving, be able to lift up to 75 lbs, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Additionally, applicants must be comfortable handling light building repairs and technologically proficient to manage administrative responsibilities. Candidate must be able to successfully pass a background screening and must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored visa assistance.
