As we are a pediatric dental practice, being able to communicate well with the patient and parents is essential. You'll ensure excellent customer service in a warm and friendly work environment. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office policies. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. RDA position description:

• Job opportunity available in a friendly, fast paced, and nurturing dental office.

• Experience working with children in a pediatric dental office is preferred.

• Available to help with after-hour on-call duty

• 41/hour approximately, based on experience and skill set in pediatric dentistry

• Proven experience as registered dental assistant, preferably in a pediatric dental setting
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like taking accurate radiographs, coronal polishing, taking x-rays, & sealant placement
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
