Job Description

Account Manager Must maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no major offenses Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory, customer service, or account management experience Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning practices, including trash removal, dusting, restroom and office cleaning, floor care (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming), window washing, floor buffing, stripping and waxing, stone care, carpet cleaning, spotting, and upholstery cleaning General understanding of financial principles, including budgeting and profitability Proven ability to delegate tasks and manage multiple large teams effectively Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and resolve employee issues Excellent customer service, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities Demonstrated reliability with flexibility to work varied hours and travel as needed Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain consistent internal communication across teams and departments Capable of working under pressure with a strong sense of urgency Experience in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to learn and work across multiple software platforms and applications Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to work Requirements of the Account Manager Associates Degree in Business or similar field A Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred Effective verbal and written English communication skills (Spanish as well is a plus) Strong Mathematical skills, especially multiplication, division and percentages Operations Management Adhere to company mission, values, and operational standards Oversee all operational activities, including planning, directing, organizing, and controlling production Develop, evaluate, and implement new service processes, procedures, and equipment Maintain ongoing professional development and industry knowledge Monitor and evaluate management performance to ensure service standards and compliance requirements are consistently met Ensure performance standards are upheld during both peak and off-peak periods Maintain a strong focus on quality service and detailed cleaning standards Oversee completion and proper documentation of all reports (e.g., incident, accident, damage) Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and improved operational methods Lead continuous improvement initiatives across all levels of the organization Enforce company policies and procedures, taking corrective action when necessary Complete and coordinate required documentation for Accounting, Human Resources, and Operations Support cost-effective service delivery, including assisting with customer requirements and rate negotiations Customer Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for client senior management Attend regular client meetings, including weekly production meetings Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication Respond to client needs with urgency and professionalism Schedule meetings, gather feedback, and follow up to ensure satisfaction Obtain and manage client approvals for completed work and service requests
