This position combines administrative coordination with copywriting, graphic design and content production. The coordinator helps ensure marketing projects and materials are accurate, timely, brand-consistent and responsive to organizational needs. This position reports to the Director of Marketing Communications.
POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the inventory, organization and distribution of marketing collateral and promotional items. Fulfill marketing material requests from departments across the organization. Coordinate with printers and other vendors to support the timely production and delivery of marketing materials. Provide administrative and project coordination support for Marketing Department activities, including e-commerce activities. Draft, edit and proofread content for social media, email, web, print and other communication channels. Create and update basic graphic design materials using established templates and FCS brand standards. Assist with content gathering, project tracking and coordination with internal subject-matter experts. Support FCS podcast production through scheduling, guest coordination, logistics and promotional content. Support community social events through registration, setup, logistics and preparation of marketing materials. Review materials for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards. Perform other marketing-related duties as assigned. Occasional evening or weekend work and local travel may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
education: Associate degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, public relations, business administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
EXPERIENCE
At least two years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, administrative support or a related area. Experience drafting, editing or proofreading content for print or digital communications. Experience creating or modifying basic visual materials using templates and established brand guidelines. Experience coordinating projects, managing requests or providing administrative support in a deadline-driven environment.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Strong written communication, proofreading and basic copywriting skills. Foundational graphic design skills and an understanding of layout, typography and visual consistency. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications. Familiarity with graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva. Ability to organize multiple assignments, manage deadlines and maintain attention to detail. Ability to communicate professionally and work collaboratively with employees, vendors and community partners. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling organizational information.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
Must possess a valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record to use agency and/or personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office.
