This role manages client relationships, coordinates event planning and execution, prepares contracts and banquet event orders (BEOs), oversees catering operations, and collaborates with hotel departments to ensure successful events.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, train, and supervise catering staff. Generate new business and maintain client relationships. Manage event sales, contracts, menus, and BEOs. Coordinate with banquet, kitchen, beverage, front desk, and accounting teams. Conduct site tours and inspections for prospective clients. Monitor event execution to ensure exceptional guest experiences. Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and departmental documentation. Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and hotel leadership programs.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of catering sales experience and hospitality/hotel experience preferred. Strong sales, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Knowledge of food and beverage operations. Proficient with computer systems and event management processes. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and commitment to outstanding customer service.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
