Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales processing Prepare and serve coffee beverages, bagels, and light food items following food safety standards Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and transaction accuracy Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas Follow food safety protocols during food handling and preparation to ensure quality standards are met Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring product freshness Support team members during busy periods by multitasking efficiently in a retail/café environment Qualifications Previous barista or coffee experience is highly preferred, along with serving or food service background Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the café, and lift moderate loads when necessary Experience in the food industry or retail math is a plus but not required This role is perfect for energetic individuals eager to grow their food service expertise while delivering memorable experiences to every guest.
