Job Description

Energy Consultant — Residential Solar JAF Roofing & Solar | South Jersey (ACE + PSE&G territories) | 1099 Independent Contractor The role You knock doors, book appointments, and help homeowners switch to solar. Some of you will run the full sit and close. Either way, you're the person standing in front of the homeowner — that's the job. This is commission. Your income is tied directly to your effort and your numbers. If you want a salary to show up for, this isn't it. If you want to control your ceiling, keep reading. What you'll actually do Work assigned neighborhoods and generate your own conversations at the door Qualify homeowners and set (or run) appointments Walk homeowners through why solar makes sense for their home and their bill Follow up. Deals live in the follow-up. Hit weekly activity and appointment targets What we're looking for You show up every day, not just the days you feel like it You can take a "no" and knock the next door without spiraling You're coachable — you'll get trained, and you'll actually use it You want money and you're willing to do the reps to get it Reliable transportation and a clean, professional presence at the door No solar experience required. We train. What we can't train is work ethic.
